Saturday Night Feast

On the Saturday night, a feast will be head in the Hall.

The Chef for the Spring War Feast is Lord Constantine of Saint Crispin.

The menu is still being determined, but generally includes a good variety of historical foods to suit many palettes. Below you can see the menu for the feast at Spring War XXVII (2022).

The Feast Chef is responsible for managing the feast on Saturday evening, ensuring that the meal is prepared and served.

First Course

Assorted Cheeses, pickles and dried fruits for the table
Mortis Chicken (Gluten free, dairy free, egg free, alium free)
Eggs with Mustard Sauce (Vegetarian, gluten free, alium free, Contains Butter)
Leafy Salad cups (Vegan, gluten free, alium free)
Chickpea Salad (Vegan, Gluten free, alium free)
Bread rolls (gluten free bread will be provided on request)

Second Course

Roast Chicken with Garlic Sauce (Gluten free, Chicken without sauce will be provided for those who cannot have dairy, eggs or garlic)
Stewed Beef (Gluten free, dairy free, egg free, alium free)
Spinach Torte in the Genoese Style (Alium free, Egg free, Vegetarian, Gluten free available on request)
A Proper New Tarte of Spinach (Vegan, Alium free)
Tarte on Ember Day (Vegetarian, Gluten free available on request)
Mushroom Pasties (These will be provided for those who are vegetarian, vegan, or don’t eat red meat, eggs, dairy or alium)
Jewelled Saffron Rice (Vegan, Gluten free, Alium free)
